I am formally laying a complaint against Cellsure, the company Vodacom uses to cover my cell phone.
My phone was taken away from me at gun point on 05 September 2013, I went into a Vodacom shop and was assisted with a claim.
Today I was advised by the shop that Cellsure refuses to replace my phone because I am under-insured. I find this hard to believe because when I got my upgrade in May 2013, the consultant who processed my upgrade advised me that she would increase my premium to cover the cost of loss/damage to the iPhone5.
That being said, I find it inexcusable that the consultant at Cellsure was inexplicably RUDE and unhelpful. I also find it hard to believe that Vodacom would give me incorrect advise in respect to insuring a phone I purchased off of you.
I am not prepared to cover the shortfall that Cellsure wants and I have the expectation that this will be resolved by Vodacom and Cellsure.
