I was phoned by a telemarketer at the KZN branch who started off the conversation by saying that she "does not want to sell me anything". She proceeded to say that MTN is running some value added client service and that my name was chosen based on my birth date and they are reducing the price of my contract.
Little did I know (and regrettably, much to my naivety), she was selling me a brand new contract. It was clear that I did not understand what she was saying and I asked many questions. She said that she already has my details and would like to confirm then with me. Once she had got everything she needed from me, despite me asking more questions, she immediately evaded all questions and said goodbye,
I find these hoax tactics and misleading information to seal sales absolutely despicable! I want no contract with Yello Mobile and I am appalled and extremely disappointed with the actions of the telemarketer.
