Cell phone contract ended Oct 2012; noticed in Jun 2013 that promo service fee was still being billed.
End Jun;
- Requested refund and cessation of promo fee via call centre.
10 Jul;
- Received e-mail saying refund awaiting QA approval.
- No promo fee in July invoice, yay!
2 Sep;
- Requested update, told 100 odd rand was refunded. Refund not on invoice and incorrect amount anyway.
- Call centre agent sent message for someone to call me.
6 Sep;
- No-one called, call centre agent says no change in status on system.
- Requested to be called by Monday 9th cob.
Here we are, Tuesday the 10th, no call from MTN.
I am owed eight months' worth of promo fee plus vat.
What more can I do to find out when refund, correct amount, will be made?
Can't help but wonder how things would go if, heaven forbid, the tables were turned and I owed MTN!
