Cancellation of contract

After 2 years I suddenly have 2 contracts now with a diff number, 073 number for my data contract which is now a complete different contract to my phone (078*). I have been billed with 1 amount for 2 years but I have 2 contracts, how does that work? my 073 contract expired in June 2013. When I phoned to cancel this they told me to phone 14 July 2013 to cancel the 078 contract. ok I phoned 14 July 2013 to cancel the contract. 30 Aug money when out of my account, MTN tells me I had to phone in June to cancel the contract as i'm getting billed on a month to month basis for a top-up contract. I did phone in June to cancel it, they tell me no I did not. So if I cancel the contract now I'm still going to be billed end of September because they invoice for Aug was already put through. MTN phone me in June 2013 to hear if I want to upgrade I said no. Now I did not cancel the 073 contract but MTN is deducting money each month and they don't care. Nobody knows nothing, nothing on the system no voice recordings, nothing. I am seeking legal advise regarding this as MTN is me blind and they don't care, they have millions of other clients they "" so the with this one.
