UPGRADE & SIM SWOP NIGHTMARE!!!

My daughter and I went to Wonderboom Junction yesterday to do an upgrade on her phone number. We were advised that a sim swop was also required. We paid the necessary fees and it was confirmed that it would take between 2-24 hours for her phone to start working. At home, I realized that my phone suddenly was not working either. It showed Sim not provisioned: 2 error, the same as on her phone. I phoned MTN about 5 times and I was asked to do stupid things like reboot, put sim card in another phone, etc. I was then told that the upgrade was done on my daughter's number, but the sim swop done on my phone. Ridiculous! It was probably because Emo was busy taking personal calls whilst trying to attend to us. My daughter went to the store again this morning. Now the systems are down. They first need to log a query on why the sim swop was done on the incorrect number - due to incompetence or is lack of training?? - then cancel it, then redo the sim swop on the correct number. Dont they do these things daily??? All this time we are being inconvenienced. We both need our phones! I've logged at complaint at MTN as I cannot phone 0831808 from a Telkom line. Lets see if they respond!!!
