My wife has a contract with Telkom Mobile (081 376 0761) I pay for the contract. I was on arrears for two months and the line was suspended. We paid R2733.00 on the 13th August. The line was then unsuspended. Two days later the line was suspended again. When I called the Telkom Mobile/8ta call centre, I was informed that it was because we were stll owing R0.95. (Ninety five cents). On the 23rd August, there wa a deduction of R1550.00 that was made by Telkom on my bank account. The line is still suspended. Each time we enquire from 8ta/Telkom Mobile we do not get a clear explanation as to what exactly is happening except to say they are still looking into the matter.
