I had a contract with cell c which I took out in 2009 and in it expired in 2011 (cancelled the contract) at the same time I was offered an upgrade and I took 2 cellphones. The 2 cellphone contracts expired in May 2013 which I also cancelled and is on prepaid. Now I get calls and sms's on all my prepaid numbers stating that cell c is going to debit me for R150 for a phone which expired in 2011. when i asked the consultants why do you wanna debit me when I dont want anymore upgrades or cellphones the tell me a story that it was the final amount which obviously is bull. For two years after 2011 I have been paying R350 and now they want to squeeze a last R150 out of me for a cancelled / expired contract. All my contracts are paid up and cancelled and I don't want another contract. contact centre keeps on calling me telling me that they going to debit me for R150 that is owed on the 0840192919 which was cancelled in June 2011.The next step I am taking is I am going to The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA). this has gone far enough and I will tell the next consultant.
