Have a two year contract with vodacom, my phone was, and replaced by the insurance, with a new phone on the 29/07/2013. i had to pay R400. on the 05/08/2013 this new phone was handed in for repairs because it did not switch on. on the 20/08/2013 i was informed that the phone had liquid damage, and the repair cost would be R2964.00

for the phone to be liquid damaged, it had to be exposed to a liquid of some sort, it was not, exposed to any liquid that i am aware of. the phone did not switch on that was the problem.

when the phone was handed in the back cover and battery, was removed, to check for water damage, and other problems, no note was recorded, that the indicators indicating water damage, were flagged. so where did this liquid damage come from? did it pop up during the diagnostics?
