I moved recently from my parents house in Boksburg to about 1km away to a new complex that was built. It is situated right next to the exchange. I have personally seen a Telkom van in the compelx, and when speaking to the person, he stated he is installing a landline for someone within the complex.
Sadly enough, i requested telkom to move my ADSL from my parent shouse to my new house, and after a week they just tell me that there is no lines in the area. I know this is utter rubbish as i had a 10mbs line at my previous residence.
And the waiting times with telkom is really up to! I mean waiting 21 working days just to have the Land Line installed, and then another 21 Working days for the ADSL?
Can anyone please assist on this issue!
