I bought the 10 gig day and 10 gig night data contract 2months ago. My main purpose for canceling my ADSL was because it didn't offer wifi connections like 8ta/ telkom mobile does. My main use for the internet is needed when working outside my office. I go to these special hotspot location especially to connect to the wifi to work. But it doesn't connect. I have called their call centre possibly 8 times with no real assistance. In fact some of the agents just tell me they don't know what the issue is without escalation. I investigated and read many online blogs with frustrated users that have the same problem. How can such a significant service not work & for so long? Here is what happens: When I connect to the wifi location, it asks for a username and password. I registered both cell numbers on the online portal (I have 8ta prepaid number as well) It kicks me out saying that the username password is incorrect. Your agents tell me that there shouldnt be a username and password prompt, which also doesnt make sense having no security! i have tried everything, logging in with my wifi enabled laptop, my 3g (8ta) ipad, iPhone, nothing worked! I wasted money with this contract!
