I have a huge problem. I lost my job, is suddenly not able to afford the 3 contracts is currently in my name. The month before I knew I wasn't able to pay the contracts, I called the accounts dept and the lady I spoke to said I can only make arrangements on my account when in arrears. So end of June I cancelled my debit order and my account wasn't paid. I called 0821946 and ask to make arrangements regarding my account. I asked if there was any possibility to cancel my contracts and only pay the outstanding handset fees applicable to the contracts since that would be all I can afford. And maybe be put on pay-as-you-go. I was said it's not possible since I'm not under debt counselling. So end of August my debit order also returned due to funds not available. I have a business contract, R135 Top-up and a 2gd Ipad contract. Every month the R135 and minutes is added to the number even though the account is in arrears making my problem even bigger. My issue: I don't need to go for dept counselling but would like to make an affordable arrangement. Everyone always tell you, if you can't afford something, just make arrangements, now Vodacom is not willing. What now?
