TELKOM AND TELKOM MOBILE - USELESSNESS PERFECTED

TELKOM MOBILE is essentially a non-functioning service. A month or so ago I was forced to change the Vodacom number I have had since 1999, because I took up the Telkom Mix offer, and the number could NOT be ported.

In parts of Cape Town and along the R27, there is just No Service. Or calls just drop. TELKOM mobile can't get SMS's to work on an iPhone5. Seriously! My clients have grown weary of my apologies, and the 5 dropped-calls to complete 1 phonecall. The 081180 cust care number is a premium number so you pay a fortune to complain from your Telkom landline!
. On the TELKOM landline side we have had a month of slow Internet speeds and line faults. Despite a fistful of Telkom ref numbers.

Last week the 1st TELKOM bill arrives. R3200. AND an SMS (they can SMS you, see) to pay within 48hours! We are told, "it's only bec its over the credit limit of R3000" no problem, the bill is due 26 August only so we pay R300 so long.

During the night, now, I get an SMS " your service has been interrupted. Pls call 081180"
I call "your service has been suspended"!!
As I have to leave early, I now have to drive to Cape Town in this terrible weather without a cellphone, Bravo Telkom
