I opened up a Cell C contract in Pietermaritzburg under my moms name just over a week ago (04/08/2013). I live in DBN, and when I got to DBN that Monday, there was no network where I live. I couldn't make or receive calls, SMS's or go onto the Internet. I phoned Cell C PMB branch on Tuesday, and they said that I should remove the sim and put it back in again, which didnt work. I was told by Nash that if I had a network problem, Cell C would cancel my contract. I went back to the PMB branch on Friday (09/08/2013), to then hear that my phone needed to be sent in a minimum of 3 times (7 - 14 days each time) before Cell C would consider cancelling my contract. I then had to do a sim swap which cost me R100 as the branch did not have a device that took a micro sim, the assistant manager gave me a Nokia 201 to use while my iPhone was sent off for OBF. I was told by him that a blackberry charger would work in the phone because he needed the Nokia charger; only to find out today that a blackberry charger does not work! I phoned Cell C, and he said that i can buy a R20 charger at a chinese shop! I am still waiting for someone from Cell C to check the reception at my home?? Disappointed
