Blackberry 9790 battery heats up, phone reboots - taken in to Vodacom Repairs in Canal Walk in May 2013. 2 days later I am told the phone is in its 2nd year warranty, but not the battery & the battery needs to be replaced, which was done. Exactly 2 months later, the same problem, phone reboots & then battery is drained (lasts 90mins max). Phone booked in, 2 days later, ready for collection, problem again identified as the battery. Technician says I run too many apps (which is off when I am not using it & middle of the day the phone reboots). I insisted it surely cant be the battery again, he sends to ARC in JHB. A week later comes back from JHB, the battery is the problem, I ask for a supervisor, Anele who chats to the technicians & advises that the only thing he can do is send to ARC - I tell him the phone just came back from ARC, he is shocked & says he will look into it but it will take 7-14 working days! Does it take management 7-14 days to resolve an issue with a PHONE that is problematic? Who takes accountability for this incompetence that results in me being without a phone for 2weeks already & now again for another 2weeks? I was promised a call this morning & nothing!!!
