MTN UNABLE TO ASSIST REGARDING PHONE

Good Day. I went to MTN Bayside Mall on Friday 02/08/13 to report a phone. A tall guy, Indian/Coloured (no name) assisted me, not sure excactly what he did, but gave me ref no:102717201 and advised that I must get affidavit from police station and come back. Apparently he didnt even blacklist the phone. I got to the police station and they wanted IMEI and ITC reference number from MTN because it is not the affidavit that the insurance will need, but the case number. Why didnt this MTN guy give me that ITC ref? I had to run back and forth to MTN/Police station, with 2 babies aged 3 and 1.I went back to MTN on 03/08/2013, stood in a queue for almost an hour (with 2 babies), Ziyanda attended me. First she told me she is not allowed to give out IMEI numbers. Atleast she blocked the phone (REF:14167256). She wrote this number down 0861238242, told me my insurance is 24HRS Mobility and dont work on weekends. SHE CAN SEE ON MY STATEMENT that I am insured with MTN but NO, she didnt process a claim, but sent me to 24HR Mobility who sent me to Admin plus who sent me back to MTN. In short, I am tired of running around for the service I PAY for. I dont owe MTN and I need a replacement now.
