I've just tried to cancel my contract with MTN and convert the number over to prepaid only to be told that according to their terms and conditions, if I don't use the airtime I currently have on my phone I will lose it when I switch over to prepaid.
I feel this is completely unacceptable as I believe that having paid for the airtime, I should be entitled to use it at my discretion and should be entitled to have it transferred to prepaid.
