No phone for 8 months, but i'm paying 4 it:!

Vodacom Direct called me in December to do an upgrade over the phone. They processed the upgrade but never delivered my phone. I tried everything until April 19 when I wrote on Hello Peter. Vodacom told me to contact the Rewards Co to reverse the upgrade. Rewards Co reversed it, and said that I could go to the nearest vodacom outlet to upgrade.

I went to Gateway and was told that there was a handset charge on my acc for the reversed upgrade. I was told to call 0821946, which I did. They said they would escalate the matter, they never did. I went again to Gateway numerous times. Eventually we called 0821946 again on 23 July, I received a response via sms on 25 July saying the installment was reversed.

I tried to upgrade again on 02 Aug at Liberty Mall PMB, my statement showed that I'm owing R1600 for the handset that I never received. The sales rep tried 0821946, they told him that it is Rewards Co deducting the money.

I called Rewards Co today. They said that they cancelled the installment in April. I called 0821946 today, the lady told me that she would escalate. I asked for a reference sms, which I still haven't received.

I have 4 contracts with vodacom. Next stop MTN!
