I have a complain. I had a Cell C contract phone which i had paid for in full and closed the account. Than last month i got a call from Cell C's lawyers because they decided to hand my account over. This lady told me i owed R6.200 which i need to pay for. I had indicated to her i have not received an e-mail from or sms or call from Cell telling me that i had to pay. And this lady went beyond by telling me how irresponsible i am and that is why i was handed over. Now i requested for Cell C to give me a report from Credit Berau that my name has been cleared and a letter from the Lawyers apologising for being rude to me and that my account has been closed. Cell C did write a letter stating that they have wrongly invoiced me and handed me over and that everything will be cleared. i got a response from Cell C saying that i should call the lawyers myself and ask them for them to write me a letter and give me the credit berau report. My question is why should i call Cell C and do that they are the one who wrongly handed me over for an amount of R6200. I dont have that money around and the lady to insult me like that. I hope that i will get a response.
