I applied for a new contract for the iPhone 5 white around March 2013. After Cell C either being out of stock, long calls to the call centre, weeks of not receiving my phone and sending me the wrong devise in the end, I cancelled the order. But this is not what I want to complain about. After cancelling the order, the devise was sent back to Cell C about a week or so after cancellation. A RAM employee picked up the devise from me at STD Bank in Constantia Valley and that was the last I ever heard from Cell C. A couple of months later I noticed that Cell C was deducting the monthly contract amount from my account even though I cancelled. Called the call centre, they established that it was and someone activated my account and phone. The account was suppose to be cancelled right there so that nothing would be deducted from my account again. Yet, they deducted another R399 from my account this month, this amounts to almost R2, 000. I don't even have a Cell C number or phone. department was supposed to contact me but I haven't heard anything from them. I will take this further if I do not get some response and action regarding this matter, it's totally unacceptable.
