I wanted to pay up one of my contracts prematurely last month. Vodacom told me what I had to pay in and that they would send me the documentation that I needed to return to them in order to convert the current contract line to a pre-paid line. They explained that at the end of July a deduction would still go off, y bank account as contracts are paid in arrears.
Needless to say, as usual, Vodacom did not do as they promised and never sent me the e-mail, I therefore could not cancel the contract and make payment before the end of July and thus am tied into them for yet another month. I called them today, only to be told they can do nothing until the 5th of August and I must call back. I asked to know the name of the person that promised to send the mail to me only to be told that Vodacom does not name and shame. My call was them cut off and I was put through to rate the level of service.
As far as I am concerned, Vodacom does not feel for their customers and are just interested in Money!
