Vodacom my money over debit order!

It is with great dissapointment that I have to revert to Hellopeter. Vodacom has always been a good service provider to me. I have been paying the same capped amount of R285 for 1GIG of data (locked into a very expensive contract) for 22mths already. I have requested to be capped to not go over the 1gig p/m.
Vodacom mailed me a statement of a whopping R2300 this month due to very high data usage..that I thought I was capped at 1 gig..so the debit order will go off for this amount and the callcentre is extremely rude and very unhelpful-I got a reference number (S3TXD2R-RLR1W) after talking to numerous departments. So this means that Vodacom can tell me that I am capped, they even block my doggle after 1gig usage but I still pay the R2300 and for the high data usage? Is this even legal???
