I took out a Cell C data contract special (R99) earlier this year. Since the first bill, I have had problems. The first debit I assumed was for set up fees, and then the second was R180 more than it should have been. I applied for a R00 per month Data contract and have been charged R279 each month. I put a stop debit order on my account for anything over R100, and of course, the next debit was refused because it was again R279.
I emailed now 2 months ago, and heard nothing. One month ago I phoned Cell C, and they acknowledged the problem and said they would get back to me regarding a refund, and would amend to the correct account on their system. Again, I have heard nothing, spent all morning on the phone not getting through to anyone.I have now been without internet access for over a month, and if this problem is no rectified immidiately, I will cancel my contract. This is poor service, and makes me realise why I usually stick to Vodacom - because I know things are dealt with well, and sorted out when needed.
I have had enough of this now..
