I am so tired of this provider, from bad service, lack of ownership and attitude towards their customers. I have a number with Cell C and wanted to move to the new packages with my upgrade. Firstly I was told with Cell C direct, it can be done on the 1st Aug and then in store they would only do the upgrade in September. What a waste of my time and a company that's inconsistent and don't know whats going on. The Cape Gate staff has bad attitude, almost like they doing you a favor. I am really contemplating getting another contract with 8ta and moving my number in 4 months. I don't want to be with a provider that to me and treat me like trash.
Consumers please be aware.
- Cell C only perform upgrades 3 months before contract end where other providers offer 4 months.
- Cell C Direct perform upgrades 4 months before your contract ends (they don't tell the consumer this. unethical business practice, will report this to the consumer protector)
- Cell C cannot move a package from own sim to another number, other providers can do this.
- To activate roaming you have to be in the country, so if you forget you busted.
