I have 2 vodacom cellular phones of which none work at the moment.
The first is a contract phone which has been locked and is being investigated for. Customer Care at first couldnt tell me the why there was an investigation. On my second attempt to find out what was going on I was told that the line had been unlocked and someone would contact me about the investigation. I waited around 24 hours then called back to see if there was still a problem. The consultant took about an hour to help me out, then said she would sms the number of the department as well as my reference number to my alternate phone.

The second phone is a prepaid simcard in a blackberry which I merely turned on to use while my contract service was supended for no apparent reason. there was no sms and the data bundles which I had purchased and was working yesterday seemed to have stopped working. I contacted customer care who asked what kind of phone it was and then transeferred me to the blackberry dept. They then informed me that my data wouldnt work without BIS, even though it worked yesterday, all of a sudden it doesnt work, failing to address my sms query completely.

What am I paying for here?
