Failure of Cancellation of Contract in 2011

Hi there,

I opened a contract with Cell C, cannot recall when. Towards the end of my contract I called Cell C to find out when my contract expires, this carried on for 7months. Eventually we spoke to Phillemon Moshia, who confirmed over the phone that it was Cell C's mistake that my contract was just never getting cancelled and received a confirmation email stating that my account was credited with money and that the account has been closed.
Over 2 years later I receive a sms stating I owe Cell C money. The attorneys dealing with the matter are beyond useless and I can never get through to Cell C's legal department to have this issue sorted out.
I feel their service is ridiculous, as it took over 7 months to have this contract cancelled and then they demand money from me over 2 years later.
I'm getting a bad credit rating because of this issue and I cannot get anyone to sort it out. I have heard from a number of people that this has happened to. Cell C should be more concerned about their clients!
