Received a damaged Brand New Samsung Galaxy S4

I upgraded on Saturday 20 July '13 to a Samsung Galaxy S4. I only charged and downloaded all information on Sunday night, I discovered when playing music that the speaker was scratching. This morning, Monday 22 July '13 I was at the Voda shop in Westgate at 09h00 to report the brand new faulty phone. One of the consultants tested the phone and said that the "scratchy sound" is very bad. I was quickly reminded by the store manager re the terms and conditions that I signed on Saturday re the 7 day warranty, however I feel that this is a brand new phone I haven't even had it two whole days and now I must wait 7 days for it to be tested to see if I can receive a new phone. I don't want a repaired phone, I want a NEW phone in working order! Very bad service from Vodacom.
