What is wrong with MTN call centre people? is it lazyness or they are incompetent? Last week from Wednsday I have been trying to make a sim swop and not winning. And then on Saturday I get an advice to make an affidavit and certify my ID Copy and fax it through to them or go to a close MTN outlet of which I went to the MTN outlet in Rosebank. The lady there tried so hard to help me and I thank her a lot though we did not win again. So I called back the customer service number of which I spoke to Zandile, to send me the fax number to fax those documents. I faxed the documents on Saturday and they were delivered to her supervisor Tshepo. They called later that Saturday saying the SIM Swop has been done. On Sunday when I called them again if it went through they said it is still processed let me give it 24hrs and I will receive an sms stating that my number is back. The whole day yesterday I waited till I went to bed. Today I called again to enquire what is really going on, I have been told they only updated their notes but the sim swop was never activated and I have to wait for another 24hrs... no no no MTN why r u treating us like this???
