Can't get statements after 3 weeks of struggle

My account was - R550 every month for the past 23 months, all of a sudden i did not receive my monthly statements from MTN from October 2012. then my november debit order went down for R1147, and obviously i would want to check what is happening. but no statements, not to mention that i pay you every month to send me the full statements. i called MTN for the last 3 weeks every second day, first they wanted to charge me fto resend it on email :( . still did not receive my statements as this does not make sense. might i add that i moved over to Vodacom middle of December because of a bill limit i struggled with for 2 years and they could not sort it. Now there should be a last payment to go down end of January 2013, but i am going to put a stop order now at the bank until i get my statements. i do not mind to pay, but just a bit suspicious that as soon as i did not receive my statements anymore then my bill goes up 100%.
