Another customer let down by Vodacom

I took out a contract phone in May 2012 and it was a Top-Up 135 and at the end of the month i payed around R260. This year in March a gentleman from Vodacom called me with an offer which according to his presentation (or misrepresentation in this case), I was to pay less than I was currently paying (R199). What he failed to mention was that this was an open package and I landed with a bill of R1045. For a person who has been paying R260 per month for 10months I was shocked. I thought there was some kind of mistake, I called Vodacom a number of times and basically I can now work for Vodacom because I was transferred from department to department. For the past three weeks i have been asking for the person who sold me this package because what they did was wrong and they'll continue doing it to other people. Turns out Vodacom has no records of that, but they do have records of what I owe they as a result of that misrepresentation.
My line has been suspended for the past two months, which means I can access the benefits i took the contract for. I have made arrangements to pay and I am waiting for this contract to come to an end so I can change to another provider. Let down
