Cancellation of Contract /Roll-Over Airtime Quey

On 8 July 2013 I telephoned Virgin Mobile to have my contract with them cancelled.

I was told that because I have to give 30 days notice, I would receive airtime on 1 August 2013, but that my last payment would be on 30 SEPTEMBER 2013.

I understand that I have to pay in arrears, but I just cannot understand how airtime credited to my Account at the beginning of AUGUST, is only payable at the end of SEPTEMBER! Surely if I pay at the end of August and at the end of September, then I should also receive airtime in September?

Could somebody please take the time to explain how I will have to pay 25 instalments, instead of 24 (as per my contract.)

I also told the consultant that my roll-over airtime had not been credited to my Account on two separate occasions. She told me that according to her records, everything was in order! Well, not according to my records! She told me that I would receive a call-back from Virgin Mobile on Wednesday 10 July 2013... I am still waiting.

Please could somebody at Virgin Mobile assist with the two queries above.
