Vodacom
Pathetic Service

I was given a phone by my boss who purchased it brand new on contract through Nashua. I inserted my sim card and it worked perfectly for three days, then all of a sudden it stopped working, saying sim card registration failed. I took the phone to a cell phone repair shop who told me the phone was blacklisted.

Here the problems started. I contacted Vodacom customer care on 5 July enquiring my issue which they confirmed, (They could not specify by whom, but told me the phone was reported by somebody). They sent me a form which I needed to fill in and fax through together with a copy of my ID which would "sort out my problem" within 48 hours which I immediately did, Sunday afternoon I received a call from Vodacom stating they cannot unblacklist the phone because they require proof of purchase first, so now because the phone was a company contract phone I had to get the owner to type a letter and send it through with a copy of HIS ID. (Embarrassing), anyway, I did that and got it faxed through again on Monday the 8th together with my ID, the Un blacklist form and copies of the original box showing IMEI numbers etc. I have had NO response and it is the 11th Today!! PLEASE HELP
