Bad customer service

My son used his phone on the internet. he ran up a bill of R1700.00. We went in to Vodacom Shop in Jakaranda Centre to ask them to lock his account at R100 over Standard tarrif. They phoned Vodacom Customer Care and guy there said that it was done, but the next month we again received a bill of R1300.00. When my wife poned 1st time, they said it was not done. 2nd time it was done incorrectly. 3rd time only then did someone explain to her what was going on. They promised to phone back, but we are still waiting. She only received a sms that stated the following: "New service request has been created and send to region to assist. Kind regards, Retentions Upgrades and Cancellations Admin Team Lesley Dean". She phoned again tonight and lady don't know anything, nothing on computer. She explained that reason for high bills because Vodacom you pay a month late, eg. May was paid in June, etc. Everytime different stories. Hope you can assist us. We have been Vodacom customers for a long time, but we are starting to regret ever going to them.
