Billed for inactive line

I added an extra line on my account on the 30th May 2013. I had an existing number that I have loaded prepaid as far back as 2011 and needed to keep that number for the added line. A sim swap was done for a smaaler sim to fit in the iphone I had chosen.By the 4th of June the sim was not yet active. I phoned the branch and was told a number for life was impossible since the number I was loading airtime on indicates that it was a contract number. I indicated to them that a challenge like that should not affect me. Mtn' s incompetency by not realising that a number given to me as pre paid and airtime loaded for more than 2yrs was a contract should not inconvenience me. I indicated that the number I want has been distributed to all institutions I deal with. To my surprise I was billed end of June for a subscription of an inactive number and up to today no one has come back to me. I checked with Mtn business unit and they say on the network my number is suppose to be functional. I am expecting another bill end of July since my bill date is the 11th. Billing for inactive simcard and no communication as their supervisor promised to feedback.
