Faulty iPhone 5 sales and bad service

Only 3 months after entering a 24 month contract with Cell C for a 16Gb iPhone 5, the phone battery stopped charging. I sent it back via the Gallo Manor branch and 3 weeks later they called me to get a new one. When I got there I was given a supposedley new handset only. No box. No accessories. Only handset. Me thinking that they wise enough to place my sim card in the "new" phone I went home. Charged it. When turning it on. No sim. Nothing. Bear in my all the data, messages and calltime left on my sim. Nevermind the personal info left on it. Its ridiculous. Right now I'm paying for services that I'm not receiving. On no level!! For all I know somebody at Cell C is using my sim and I'm footing the bill. This is the worst telecommunications encounter I've ever had.
