Cell C failed to debit my account on my pay date and as a result, i instructed them to stop the debit orders as i will pay via EFT. On the 20th September 2009, i paid via EFT and all was well. I did the same on the 20th October but Cell C debited my bank account on the 30th October again. I queried this and there was no response from Cell C and I then instructed my bank to reverse the payment as I now paid them twice. to cut the long story short, Cell C never responded to all the queries i raised after I made numerous calls.

I then referred the matter to ICASA of which a complaint was logged but Cell C failed to respond (i still have the emails from ICASA). on the 08th June 2013, i received an email from Pholosa advising that Cell C has handed over my account to them. I responded advising of my dispute and expressed my views as I no longer have all the communication after three years??? Why is Cell C violating my rights and only acting now? According to the NCR, this debt is stale and I did all I could to resolve this matter. I have accounts with different SP and non of them have a bad record and why this one?
