No Feedback after admitting fault on their side

My husband and I went to MTN Direct Kimberley with the request to port our numbers, mine from Vodacom and his from Nashua Mobile to MTN Direct. We waited for our contracts to expire before going to MTN Direct so that we could keep our numbers. Henriette at the Kimberley branch was on maternity leave so the temp Chandre assisted us in porting our numbers to MTN. We did not cancel my contract with Vodacom and my husband's contract with Nashua yet, on advice from MTN Direct Kimbeley, before the contracts on MTN were activated, otherwise we couldn't have kept our numbers. The problem came when Chandre marked on the application form that we now had prepaid and not contracts, but still activated the new Contracts, without notifying Vodacom and Nashua Mobile to cancel the contracts on their side. We ended up paying 4 contract fees - MTN Direct's, Vodacom and Nashua Mobile. MTN Direct did confirm that they made the mistake and will pay back the fees of almost R3500 that was incorrectly debited from us - we have everything on paper but still no payment was made to us to date after many calls made. In the event my husband had to go back to Nashua Mobile and continue his contract with them
