Changing my contract without permission!

I wanted to upgrade my cell phone contract so I decided to phone the Upgrade Department as I heard you can now upgrade this way. After speaking to a lady I was upgraded (according to her), she asked me what colour phone I want etc. and I was told my phone would be delivered to me in the next 2-3 days. A week later I contacted Cell C and I was told that they do not have any stock of the S4 so I was not upgraded. After about 3 more calls and being told the same thing I decided to wait until the 1st of June and just go into the store to upgrade. This month when I got my Cell C account the bill was R 1 400.00!!! I could not understand why my bill was so expensive as I was on a prepaid contract and was told that my contract will only change in September when it expires. I phoned Cell C and they said that my contract was changed on the 1st of May. I didn't give permission for this change to happen. The gentleman I spoke to told me that they will listen to their recordings and get back to me in 2-3 days, this was about 2 weeks ago. I had to pay the R 1 400.00 bill this month otherwise they cut off my phone. This is really upsetting. I have been with Cell C for 4 years!!!
