I Had a 8ta contract now for 2 months and 2 weeks. I signed a contract for debit date 25th, 8ta set it for 1st of each month, yet they only debit the acc. on the 14th (I had to pay rejection penalty). I requested a termination quotation where i was told the system can't generate one for me. After constant phoning I managed to get one (penalty to pa R6362.50). I paid that on 26/06/2013, I received a sms today from them that they tried debiting my acc. with R5400.00, for what I paid them in full??? Anyway I call them again at bout 13h20, spoke to Nompumelelo they took that penalty cancellation fee and put it to my name as credit after I had spoken to them on numerous occassion telling them I WANT MY CONTRACT CANCELLED! I even completed their cancellation request form, typed a letter to tell them I want it cancelled. At 15h09 today (01/07/13) I received a voicemail from 8ta that if I don't pay my account within the next 48 hrs my account will be given to Credit Buro's??? Should I get legal advice and take the matter to the claims court? My account should be rectified and my contract cancelled, I HAVE PAID MY ACCOUNT IN FULL AND DON'T OWE 8TA ANYTHING
