I had 24 month contract expired on 13 June 2013.
On 12 April i went at 8ta / telkom store in Cresta, the manager told me that i have to email my request for contract cancellation at the back office email. For the period from 12 April until 13 June 2013 i send 4 emails asking for confirmation for the termination of my contract whit *ta mobile.
0n 14 June 2013 one day after my contract expired i called customer care 180 and they told me that i have to open a case to cancel my account, and will take between 3 to 5 working days. After a week i called 180 again and i find out that my contract to be cancelled will need 20 working days.
From 20 June 2013 i was calling customer care 180 every single day and i had the argument from 8ta side that i had to call 180 to cancel my contract and not to email it .
on 29 June 2013 i received a call from 8ta mobile to tell me that from 1 july 2013 my contract will be cancelled and i will be on a prepaid bases.
On 1 July my account was uploaded whit the same (date)contract amount. When i call 180 the employee told me that my contract is not cancelled yet. I am extremely disappointed from 8ta and will never ever again use them again
