Did online application for Samsung Galaxy S4, when Cell C had their pre-launch promo in April. No response from call centre 1 wk after launch. I phoned 084145 many times, no response. So I emailed them my request. Eventually, in 2nd wk, I get a call to get all my details, as I need to port from MTN. They even read me contract details, rules etc, to which I agreed. Based on my history with MTN, I was told I qualify highly for a new contract. Great, I faxed all documents through as requested, & waited...& waited. Another 2 wks go by, still no response.By now my friends all have their phones just by walking into a Cell C store. So I phone again, ALWAYS ME PHONING, only to be told my application was cancelled... WHAT? WHY? HOW? I never gave that instruction? The lady re-instated the application, told me to re-fax all my docs AGAIN & said someone would phone me SOON to ask for delivery address, even though its on my online application form. I'M STILL WAITING, IT'S BEEN 8 WKS NOW! All that wonderful advertising about easy porting, keeping your number, cheaper call rate, blah blah, all that means diddly squat if its such a mission to sign on! Is anyone from Cell C going to PHONE ME INSTEAD??!!
