Cell C clled me this year February saying I owe them R4000.00??? The last time I had a contract with Cell C was in 2004/2005.
1st of all I asked how can they contact me 9y ears later, and secondly in 2005 I changed over the contract into my girlfriend at the times name, we handed in all the fica documents (from bank statements, id's etc) all was confirmed.
Now 9 years later they sending me lawyers letters... I have contacted them numerous times trying to explain and sort this out, nervemind being cut off and not contacted back. I finally got hold of a logical person at customer care, who went into archives from 2004/2005 and found the records of the change over. All was sorted out finally. The in May I was contacted again by the lawyers demanding the R4000.00, I explained that all was sorted out by cell C, they told me to contact Cell C again. I did, and nothing was done.
My blood is boiling, I cannot get a bond thanks to Cell C, they have ruined my life!!!
I will make sure my entire family and friends who use cell C, will cancel their accounts aS this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
SOMETHING BETTER BE DONE TO MAKE UP FOR ALL THAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH!
