Inconsistent Advise

My daughter lost her cellphone and mtn sim card last month. I phoned the mtn 173 number 2 weeks ago and spoke to a consultant to do a sim swop. The consultant advised that I get an affidavit from the police station.

I have a busy schedule during the day and rarely get to go out of the store during business hours. I got an affidavit done and phoned mtn 173 this afternoon. The consultant says to me that I need to get a certified copy of my id and an affidavit. The police stamp on the id and the affidavit has to be done on the same day and needs to be faxed to 083 705 8289. I asked if there is an email address that I can send this to and the lady says no only fax. What happens if my fax shows that it has gone through and you dont get the fax. I must rica a new mtn simcard, then goto the police station again fax again. This is a waste of my time, I will prefer to stay with Vodacom where we have all our business contracts with.
