My Huawei E1752 Modem connects with full signal strength (HSPA), but no data. I updated the modem software to the latest available on Cell C site. Sometimes during the day it works but after about 5pm I cannot use it.
My BB8900 (only Edge) connects with Good signal strength and at times just about no signal, but no BIS or any data. I called the call centre, emailed them on the 10th June then again on the 16th June with the official form that they want filled-in. No response from them. On the 20th I resent the e-mail with more detail information of all the Cell ID that the phone picks up on EDGE and 3G. I have inserted the BB SIM in a Nokia C5 and also no data at night. I also have a Nokia N8 with similar problems. My Cell C data SIM works OK on a Huawei E270 modem from MTN. Phone calls are OK. Refer to my email dated 20th June 2013 to the Technical Team for all the info.
I have three contracts with Cell C but I'm very frustrated with the network.
