I am writing this on behalf of a friend, A Pretorius. On Saturday 1st June, we went to MTN in Nonesi Mall to see what upgrades he can get on his phone. He noticed the special running for the month. For R 190.00 per month you get a samsung galaxy phone and a 32" Samsung TV. Once all forms were filled in (he had to downgrade his contract to get this) he was told that they don't have the tv in stock, but it will be ordered on Monday (3rd June) and it will take 2 days to get here. On Tuesday (11th June, 2 weeks after he signed the contract) he received a sms from MTN saying they are out of stock and will inform him when they can get his tv. How is that possible though when he signed the contract on the day the special started. Why doesn't MTN provide each store with say 10 tv's and when that is up then tell the client you need to order. I find it highly unacceptable that he was told it will be ordered and take 2 days (keep in mind he waited 2 weeks before he heard anything) and now MTN can't even say when he will get his tv. Next time you run a special I suggest you make sure you can provide the product!!
