Opera Interactive (Opera Telecom t/a Opera Interactive) signed me up to some or other "service" that their company offers. I was subscribed without my knowledge or intent. A daily amount of R6.00 was deducted from my cell phone air time balance over 15 days in April and 8 days in May. This amounts to a total of 23 x R6.00 = R138.00 which Opera Interactive has effectively extorted from me. Taking someone's money by billing them for a service which they never requested in the first place is in my books. Complaints to them so far, as well as to WASPA, requesting an explanation and a refund have fallen on deaf ears. All they have done is acknowledge that I am unsubscribed. Someone should initiate legal action against this company. They should be put out of business.
