On Friday 31st May, I signed up with Razoweb and my Telkom line was supposed to be managed by them, Razaweb, instead of by Telkom.
I did try to call Telkom ADSL department in May to inform them of the change but couldn't get a hold of that department, so I spoke to a lady from another dept (telkom have a recording) and she informed me that there was no need to cancel the line as the line will still be held with them but she will still get someone from the relevant department to call me before they make any changes. However Razoweb asked me not to cancel as they will manage the existing line from their side.
A few days after I signed up with Razoweb, my ADSL line was disconnected and when I enquired with Telkom they told me, that to reinstate my line, I would have to pay them the line rental. My question is "Why do I have to pay Telkom for the line when I had already taken a package from Razaweb"?
This is very frustrating as to date, Telkom has not reinstated my line.
