On the 03/06/2013, My sister received a letter from Semington&Dekok attorneys, the letter stated that I have failed to pay 15000 that I owe to the Municipality, and therefore my lease has been cancelled and I am unlawful occupant of the flats, And I have to move to temporary place till eviction from court is obtained and i will be taken out of the flat.
Reading this letter of demand I am kind of confused by the wording, unlawful occupant, failed to pay, lease contract by cancelled. My lease contract has been cancelled, on what basis? unlawful occupant did any one inform me to move out of the flat and if Iam unlawful occupant why is the statement still come on my name? failure to pay account, I have been paying this account and the firm itself is failing to furnish with the correct statement of account. I was owing 15000 in February, I have been paying every month. First i made payment to the lawyers, suprising the balance was increasing insted of going down. I ended paying back to the Municipality account. It is obvious that this people are not reconcilling their account and there is no consistency with their statement.
I need clarity on this lawyers, I am confused.
