On 15 May i took my phone to Vodaworld repairs, not even a year old Nokia Asha 300. The screen was jumping around the speaker didn't work.
On th 17th i received an sms saying the phone is in the repair process. 22nd - sms saying phone was at the advanced repair centre, 23rd ready for collection. When i got there i was told the phone was Beyond Economic Repair due to liquid damage and gave it back as it was.
I disputed the liquid damage and the manager returned the phone to the repair centre. Received sms on the 28th that the phone is in the repair process. Later that day a lady phoned to say that it will cost R275 to repair the phone. I asked if it will be fixed (ie all that was reported broken) and she said yes. Now please tell me how you go from BER to R 275??? I asked her exactly that question and she could not ansewr me.
She said she would phone me back in an hour... It is now the 7th of June and i am still waiting for a call back.
It has also been more than 2 weeks after the initial 2 weeks of waiting.
Pathetic.
I have no idea what is happening, was it fixed, nothing, where it is? nothing.
