SERVICE provider? -I don't think so

I ordered a cellphone upgrade through Shaun at MTN Direct's retentions dept. He seemed efficient and knowledgeable. My phone was delivered by courier just after 5pm on Wednesday. I then discovered that my sim would not work in the new phone, which needs a microsim. I phoned MTN Direct at 8am on Thursday, reported the problem, and explained that the usual suggestion of "just pop into your nearest MTN store" was totally impractical as the nearest store involves a 300km drive! No problem I was told, Shaun will get back to you, certainly within 24 hours. The agent I spoke to was unable to put me through to Shaun, and had to send Shaun an email to contact me. I phoned twice more yesterday, and twice today - 2 days after receiving the phone I still have not been contacted by Shaun. My call to the last agent I spoke to today was cut off, as he was explaining to me the results of asking his supervisor.
