I was called by Vodacom sales call centre by a lady by the name of Rachel who said that I was spending too much money on my account and that vodacom would like to help by changing the package I was on. Reference number: 14215293 I agreed but then 5 minutes later phoned back and spoke to Nonhlanhla Adams and asked if the migration would be a new contract for another 24 months. She said yes, so I asked her to cancel the request which she assured me she did. When I asked her for a reference number she said (with an attitude) we don't give reference numbers for this. I asked hre if she assured me that it would be cancelled, she said yes... I asked her if the call was recorded to which she sighed and compained, yes it was and that she had just made a note on the system. Why did I ask all of this? Because I know first had how useless vodacom call centre staff are. 40 mins ago I get a call from a driver to say he's dropping a handset of. FFS Vodacom. I have been waiting on the line now for 30 mins to try rectify this. I will be taking this to consumer court.
